U.S.S. Lexington Aircraft Carrier
Ned Cory visited this carrier (nicknamed the "Blue Ghost") and thought members would enjoy seeing some pics. The ship was Decommissioned on the Gulf Coast at Corpus Christi, Texas. It has been Commissioned and Decommissioned twice since WWII for torpedo and Japanese aircraft attack repairs. It received it's nickname because it had been presumed 'sunk', but kept returning to battle... thus the "Blue Ghost."
